Developmental psychology
Developmental psychologyAfter completing the course and passing the exam, students will know the traditional and modern principles, concepts, theories and research methods, the human physical, cognitive, emotional and social development, which will be compared according to different criteria and critically evaluated. They will understand the factors and processes that cause developmental changes and are in their background. Students will know the difficulties faced by researchers of developmental stages and their ability to remove them. Furthermore students will develop sensitivity to ethical dilemmas in development researches, especially in sensitive developmental periods. This Psychology online course will provide insight into the interweaving of theory, research and effective resolution of practical issues related to the field of developmental psychology, and will enable students to demonstrate competent implementation of acquired knowledge and skills gained during studying psychology to socially relevant issues in the care of people from different ages.

Bio Psychology
Bio PsychologyThe study of psychology involves understanding the biological basis of motivation, biological rhythms, sleep and wakefulness, attention, learning and memory, speech, and disturbances of these processes.

This course provides students with knowledge about the biological basis of the phylogenetic and ontogenetic development of various forms of experience while offering students to study the  human behavior, with which students will later be seen in other psychology degree courses.
Within each lesson seminars follow the lectures, in that way students experience different methods and forms of work, developing and deepening contents adopted at the lecture and contents that  are processed independently, using the most current research in the areas treated.

Statistics in Psychology
The understanding of basic statistical concepts and their theoretical foundations are important in handling  the psychological measurement. Students that are studying psychology will acquire the skills to apply statistical procedures in preparing and processing data for their psychological interpretation.

The course covers the basic use of statistics in the field of scientific research, ranging from descriptive statistics to the initial basis for statistical hypothesis testing in the inferential statistics. This includes the determination of the role and importance of statistics in scientific research and in the practical work of psychologists. This implies the adoption of theoretical concepts associated with  statistical approach to the analysis of the results, and  connection to particular statistical problems that may arise in the practical work of psychologists. Emphasis is placed on the possibility of using statistical methods in general but in specific situations. Certain themes are covered, from the theoretical point of view in the lectures, while in the practical exercises these theoretical concepts are associated with real examples of practical use of statistical methods of deduction.
